PI: Yang Yang, Assistant Professor, School for the Environment, University of Massachusetts Boston

I am an Assistant Professor in the School for the Environment at the University of Massachusetts Boston. My research focuses on hydrological modeling and urban hydrology. I develop and apply numerical models to improve predictions of water quantity and quality and to inform decision-making for sustainable water resources management. I hold a PhD from The University of Hong Kong, master’s degrees from IHE-Delft, TU Dresden, and UPC BarcelonaTech, and a bachelor’s degree from Hohai University. Before joining UMass Boston, I worked as a research assistant professor and postdoctoral fellow at The University of Hong Kong.
